A shelter, home, or refuge forged by sun and earth would not be complete without a well-manicured garden—a space teeming with crystalline minerals, vibrant colors, fertile seeds, and the abundance of Gaia's gifts.

The best smell in the world is that of a craftsman's table, where cedar, cherry, and walnut shavings grace its edges. The second is the smell of canvas—of art and tents. This is simplicity.

Chamomile tea, the scarlet of a solar blossom, a savory poem, an invention or insight—these are the sacred gifts I wish to nurture and bring into the world with my hands, heart, and soul.

Welcome to my personal page.

My interests & offerings (Currently Doing Winter Sabbatical

Architecture

Trained as an urban planner with a background in environmental planning and design, I have ultimately gravitated toward smaller-scale projects: cabins, recreational spaces, and the creation of cozy, tangible environments through my studios, plans, and drawings. I have an immense love for wood, stone, clay, and other hand-selected materials that honor their local origins. My building philosophy is to create shelters that serve as enclaves for the human soul—spaces for self-expression, protection, and reflection. I strive to achieve this through a purity of form and a deep connection to the Earth, embracing its available resources, scents, airflow, and grounding presence.

Land

Whether with a rake, shovel, excavator, or Bobcat, moving stone, sand, and soil is a source of great enjoyment for me. My journey began in my youth, learning the arts of groundskeeping and horticulture in my parents' garden and on our land. This path later led me to work in a diverse range of settings—from private country clubs, parks, and trails to private gardens, orchards, cooperatives, and farms. This foundational land work is the cornerstone of my ability to physically transform and build landscapes, cultivate crops, and participate in adding both beauty and sustenance. It is a privilege to contribute to the creation of spaces where people can taste the decadent artwork of the Earth.

Lodging

I am deeply drawn to resorts, ski chalets, and grand adventure-stay experiences. Having worked within the eco-tourism space on glamping cabins, domes, tents, and other creative shelters, I've enjoyed participating in this growing industry. My first major endeavor in this field was at El Capitan Canyon Nature Resort, where 150 cedar cabins create a memorable escape for guests on the Californian coast near Goleta.

Later, I helped design and execute the Enchanted Forest, an RV and camping park in Austin, Texas. This tiny-home and RV community was a thesis in environmental stewardship, tourism, and recreational living—a rustic refuge from the city designed for unwinding in the Texas countryside.

One of my greatest joys is traveling and dedicating my professional efforts to serving fellow travel lovers. My personal ethos centers on a single moment: when a guest arrives in an ecologically curated space. Here, the proper ambience, scent, amenities, and caretaking converge to meet the traveler's every need, activating their senses toward comfort and beauty. This is the way.

People

To provide and curate space, shelter, and land is a gift and a labor of love. My personal quest to understand the human condition has led me to delve deeply into the healing arts. I have integrated modalities like massage therapy, eco-immersion, natural herbalism, dance, and journaling workshops into my life. This journey is not only about being of service to others but is also a fundamental part of my own pursuit of health and wellness.

I find joy in listening deeply, in matchmaking and networking, and in offering generosity through hugs and memorable experiences. My purpose is to foster genuine connection and to curate spaces where others feel honored, seen, understood, and celebrated.

Writing

I am a lifelong writer, drawn to wordsmithing and articulating grand ideas—whether evoking the grandeur of the natural world or visions of entirely new ones. Although the art of writing does not carry the same weight in today's world as it did in previous eras, I remain deeply committed to it. This past year, I have developed several cutting-edge bodies of work that feel important for our collective humanity.

In my free time, I enjoy attending writing groups, poetry readings, and writers' conferences.
